I click "categories" and then "see category activities" but then can't edit the category that a transaction is in without going back to transactions and finding the transaction I was just looking at.

We have revamped the transaction list design, now you can update category directly from the side drawer of transaction list.

Totally understandable - we want to keep transaction list for now for simplicity, but it completely makes sense to support categorization in Transaction List if it's elegantly designed.

For now, we have placed an "Edit" button which brings you to the transactions page with the same filter so you don't need to "finding the transaction you were looking at".
